30 Second Update

I'm not sure just who might read this at this point, but, anyway....

There's not much to report other than my wife has now registered for the 2010 WDW 1/2 Marathon. She is committed to it even if I don't do it.

So, yes, even though I have registered for the 2010 WDW 1/2 Marathon...at this point, I would say that for me it's not going to happen. And, as of right now, there are no races on my calendar.

To those that have supported me over the last two years...THANK YOU!!!!

I'm sorry that I've let everyone down (including myself) by not doing half of what I said I would do.

All doors are still open, but only time will tell what happens from here.

Till Next Time.....

Come on Byron you can do it! Please do not give up. You still have our support and you don't even have to ask for it.

Your wife's registered? Perfect! You've got a ready-made team for the half marathon. Don't pass up the opportunity to train for this thing together.

My wife and I trained together for the 2009 half and ran it together. That made the experience all the more perfect. Running that race has been one of the absolute highlights of our 10 year (so far) marriage.

Do it! Do it! Do it! Don't count yourself out. You can do this thing . . . TOGETHER.

Good to see you posting again. Can't wait to see more.

There's only one way you could let yourself or me down, Byron.

Giving up.

You can do this. I believe in you.

Trust me. I've put back on about 25 pounds since the race, and I feel crappy - but I'm going to take them off and be better than ever for my new baby that's on the way.

I know you can do this.

Just keep believing.

Byron,

Glad you posted dude, but bummed to see the defeated attitude. Your better than that man. There are still folks out here who believe in you.

As for not completing half of what you set out to do... Last January after having not trained much you still had the courage to show up and give it all you had. You made it 3/4 of the way before falling behind the course pace and even though you did not finish in 09 I wish you could agree with us and accept the fact that there is much for you to be proud of. I was thrilled to shake your hand out on the course. Believe it or not seeing you there and participating was one of the highlights of my day.

Inaction can lead to the feeling that you are letting yourself down. Come and jog a few miles in my shoes. They have been a little lonely lately. It's my own fall. I need to knuckle down and get of the dam door. I was on the fence for 2010 but I finally registered. I'm concern as to where I am with a lack of training but like you last year. I will show up.

Don't give up on yourself. You can do this. We all know you can. We still have nine months to train.
